Today so far:

- angry customer

- light scolding for approving warranty work

- politely telling a customer their desired design is hideous and functionless and will really piss off whoever buys the townhouse

- job I put out that “fell through the cracks”

- long day in the field instead of enjoying this incredible weather

I’m reading a book about K2 right now and the 2008 season, called One Mountain Thousand Summits.  I haven’t finished it but it’s very good 1/2 way so far. It does not make me believe it’s possible to ski that mountain, making that even crazier. I guess some other guy skied a big section of it a few years back (‘09?) so... still. Both dudes are nuts, and I’ll ski just about anything. This is like a transatlantic journey in an open canoe.
